Image of Ornella Sacre

Hi! My name is Ornella

Dear visitor, welcome to The Sacred Closet. My name is Ornella Sacré, hence the name for my very own sacred space here on the Internet. I was born and raised in Brussels where, after some adventures abroad, I still reside to this day.

Professionally, I work as a Dermatology resident. What I love so much about my job, is that I’m able to devote myself every day to a mixture of complex pathology and aesthetics forming the path to healthy skin and soul, as well as to my love for mankind and the human psyche. I studied Medicine at the Catholic University of Leuven, and during these intense years of study this blog was a welcome creative outlet. I remember well how I used every spare moment to go out and create content, afterwards sharing every tiny bit with a wonderful audience.

Meanwhile, I'm 25 years old and I just love how I’m getting to know myself better with every day that passes. My friends and family describe me as a daring, entertaining and somewhat out of my mind go-getter. I feel the most energetic when interacting with people, when using my creative potential, when brainstorming on valuable content and when being a motivational, empowering speaker.

"I think new writers are too worried that it has all been said before. Sure it has, but not by you."

Obviously, my life isn't always pink skies and butterflies, I think that's clear if you've followed my journey a bit until now. But I figured out life sure can become near to what you've always dreamed of, out o...

As the days get darker, and nights get colder, snuggle season is finally settling in. Crisping leaves beneath your feet whilst you're walking in the dark to and home from work. Rare rays of sunshine on your cold, bare face every once in a while remind us that Fall hasn't ended just yet. Chances for ...

Hello September! We went through some extremely gloomy Summer months here in Belgium, and unless we get a delightful Indian Summer, it's apparently not getting any better. Fortunately, this "in-between season", where we resume studies or work, also has its charm! For me, it is the season I love mos...
