The end of our first month of Summer is already near, and I haven’t been idle since my return from Berlin with the girls. Catching up with old friends over lunch, family reunions, a visit to the seaside, the very first Sacred Closet Sale, and the most exciting achievement of them all: I finally got my driver’s license!
So somewhere in between my professional relaxing and a semi-busy schedule I found the time to share this look with you, one that I find remarkably perfect to explore new cities in! Comfortable yet sophisticated. Main piece of this outfit is obviously my new see-through bomber from Les Bourgeoises. I bought it in their store in Leuven and was lucky because I layed my hands on the last one in my size (I’m wearing Small). The cool thing about Les Bourgeoises is that they only provide a few pieces of every size and item, so you won’t spot hundreds of people walking around wearing the same thing. Although I love to inspire, although I am honoured whenever someone comes to me saying they bought a jacket, a skirt or shoes they saw on the blog or on IG, it’s always nice to have a unique piece and stand out from the crowd with it in your own way. Underneath, I only wore a white lace bralette from H&M, but because of the embroidery on the jacket I was far from too exposed. The shorts are from Les Filles d’Anvers in Brasschaat. I’ve been looking for the perfect high-waisted shorts for quite a while. Actually I’m still looking for the vintage dark blue colored Levi’s model type, but I spotted pearls and little sequins sewed on these and was sold immediately.
Visiting a city means walking around from momument to monument, from bar to restaurant and repeat. To prevent painful feet at the end of the day, I wore my white Nikies. These Air Forces 1 have never let me down, whether I’m going to a party or walk continuously kilometre after kilometre. And if you have already wondered how to clean them: you can just put them in the washing machine!
These pics are taken at the Berlin Wall memorial with the Fernsehturm in the background. If you missed my article about Berlin’s hotspots, definitely take a look here!
Have you already been to Berlin? Or what do you like to wear on a city trip?
I was wearing: Bomber from Les Bourgeoises, shorts from Les Filles d’Anvers (webshop online soon!), lace bralette from H&M (similar), sneakers from Nike, clutch from Essentiel (old co), minimalistic Kokokoi earrings, Hermès bracelet and Dior So Real sunnies.
