Hello guys! You can’t imagine how much it makes me happy that I found some spare time to talk to you and tell you all about my first Christmas dinner of last month (finally lol). Exams are driving me mad already and there’s another 3 weeks to go. I had the first one only today, it went quite okay and I hope that the result will be good. For the rest to come, wish me luck!

So, this dinner I’m talking about is the very first one I had for the blog. So exciting! Everything took place in the biggest ballroom of Belgium, situated in Antwerp’s Hilton hotel. It was a more than beautiful setting! Since I drove all the way up there, I couldn’t drink and I was actually a little sad haha. I had to refuse all those yummy wines, another one each course, and ofcourse the waiters always forgot that I didn’t drink. Like, Satan, is that you? Luckily Bru was there to support me in my no-drinking-boring-thing. They had provided another sort of water each course. Although I regularly eat at fancy restaurants, I had never experienced waters to suit a 6-course meal. Kind of innovating, especially for those who drive!

I had a great time with fellow bloggers, saw some familiar faces and met a lot of new people. The food was overly delicious, and it was like the live jazzy music litterally made it even better. One course was a combination of meat and sweet waffles by Jules Destrooper. I thought this was really weird when reading the menu, but the taste! If I could cook only half as good as this, I’d make this every day. For dessert we had a personal Crêpe Suzette fire show haha. This kind of moments makes me remember why I keep going with and put all of myself into this blog: you meet so many interesting people and live some extraordinary moments.

Afterwards, we all got the biggest goodiebag full of nutritional products! Australian chocolate, Anna de Codorniù cava, Jules Destrooper waffles, Weleda day creams, a powerbank (?! haha) … It’s only a handful of what was inside. The best news of all is that I got a voucher for another 3-course dinner at Hilton Antwerp again! I’m going to make good use of that ;).
