For this first outfit of a brand new semester, I’m wearing my new Stan Smiths I bought recently at Bellerose in Leuven. When looking for a new pair of Nikes, Stans or Superstars, I always take a look at Bellerose! They always have the coolest models you don’t find anywhere else (except on the Internet). I’m in love with the furry detail on the heel, and of the fact that they walk so comfortable.
Annelies and me shot two outfits last week, and we made advantage of the opportunity to bring out a make-up artist! The lovely Paulien (a girl from college) curled my hair, and -in her own words- applied the ‘no make-up make-up look’ to my face. The result? Stunning. I guess we just engaged a new member to the team!
For the rest of the outfit, I decided not to be too nice. Glitter and cameo combined? Check. Fur over a leather jacket? Check. Scottish prints? Check. I think the most casual piece I’m wearing is the white shirt from Zara. It’s one of my most recent (and best!) buys, since you can combine it with everything and every style. It has a longer back so it comes squeak beneath your jacket! You would think that, if you look at each wardrobe piece separately, they could never be combined with each other. I tried it anyway (because all of a sudden I saw the blue stripes on the clutch matching my Stans!!) and I absolutely find I slayed this game.
So one piece of advice: don’t judge before you try it. Neverrrr everrrr. Plus, confidence is the best accessory. Or make that a basic, actually.
So what do you think? Do you like the ensemble, or do you think it’s still too much? Can’t wait to hear your opinion Next outfit up will also be one starring these Stannie babies, so stay tuned. Have a nice week y’all!
